HIFI and JS Jose Santamaria Enterprises presents a fashion show "A Journey To Kaua'i," featuring the Kaua'i Art Factory- The creative director and producer for "A Journey To Kaua'i," Jose Santamaria had a vision to tell the story about a day on the Garden Isle of Kaua'i. An artistic story told through a runway show during HFM 2014 in Honolulu Fashion Week.

Kaua'i is where my wife, Alison and I call home. The fashion show demonstrated such a wonderful display of truly showcasing the beautiful energy and vibes that this sacred island and its people offer and recognize. Most of us on Kaua'i stay very close to nature, to the land, and sea, where we personally spend a lot of our free time in the water, hiking, surfing, swimming, wearing comfortable clothing, or in the gardens, where shoes don't always matter. The barefoot models along with their simple vine ankle wrap paired with colorful swimsuits, elegant dresses, pants, wraps, kimonos and beautifully orchestrated handmade and hand crafted jewelry, and handbags, is something to really be applauded. We are so proud of our local designers from Kaua'i, and can only say that this event has really changed the lives of many people.

Jose Santamaria along with Therese Wahl and our very own Shannon Hiramoto Rude from the Kaua'i Art Factory did a fabulous job creating each and every look. The story was told. The story is a day in the life on Kaua'i. We are so grateful to call Kaua'i our home, we live this story, we love her, we respect her and we couldn't be happier to share this story with the world. Kaua'i is very special, full of aloha, and will remain that way forever. A special thank you to everyone that worked so hard to make this happen, it was a dream come true.
